Tag is activated & engraved
We provision each NFC tag on the Boop Found platform and (optionally) laser-engrave your pet’s name on the tag. You attach it to your pet’s existing collar or harness.
First tap: you claim the tag
When you first tap your pet’s tag, you’ll enter a one-time code printed with your tag and fill out a quick profile: pet name, city & state, and how you want to be contacted.
Future taps: finders can contact you
If someone finds your pet, they tap the tag with their phone. They see a secure Boop Found page with your pet’s details and a call button or other contact method you chose.

Is Boop Found a GPS tracker?
No. Boop Found tags do not include GPS and do not continuously track your pet’s location. They are NFC-enabled ID tags that open a secure web page when tapped with a smartphone.
What happens when someone finds my pet?
When someone finds your pet, they tap the tag with their phone (just like tap-to-pay). The tag opens your pet’s Boop Found page with their name, city and state, and your chosen contact method. From there they can call or contact you to coordinate a safe reunion.
Do I need an app to use Boop Found?
No app is required to tap the tag. Most modern phones can read NFC tags directly. You’ll use a simple web page to claim your pet’s tag and manage their info.
Will my full address be visible?
No. Boop Found is designed with privacy in mind. The public page only shows your city and state and your chosen contact method — not your full home address.
Can I use Boop Found with multiple pets?
